  How do I update my MDAC components for SQL server 2005 and where do I get them from. I installed the developer eddition evaluation copy and its on my laptop running XP professional

  If you are in Win2003 you need SP2 and there is not MDAC in Win2008 your developer can reference it by code as needed.
