MDAC 2.8

    Hey guys,

    Our system guys tell me there are some "vulnerabilities" in MDAC 2.6 and 2.7, and they want to upgrade to MDAC 2.8, which we are all assured has had the bad juju exorcized.

    Question: Is anyone aware of any incompatibilities with SQL Server 2000? Currently, we're running SP 3.

    Haven't installed it yet due to potential issues here. Under test, but I'm not sure if it causes problems.

    We have test boxes out the wazoo. Good idea though -- I'll suggest to our network succubi that they install it on our test guys and let it sit for a week or two before they proceed.
