Hi All,
I have a process that runs large batch operations from a Navision application server that seem to run forever. On closer inspections (exec stats) I find a lot of the above waiting resources while executing? Can anyone explain what "MD: database_id = 1 INVALID(INVALID)" means?
Kind regards

do you see any errors on the SQL Server logs?

I have never seen that message in SQL before... reminds me of Oracle syntax.

Resources labeled MD are for metadata. I've seen blocking around those before, but not with that INVALID (INVALID) description.
Exactly what code were you running that returned that description for the resource?
Cheers!

Hi All,
Thanks for your replies.
This is a MS Dynamics Navision database server. The problem specifically occurs on an Average Costing run. There are no other errors in the log file.
Kind regards
