Ok so I'm a stick in the mud
I just think that with our ever growing community (I see more and more users with single figure posts) we should be able to present some sort of professional front. I mean I could create a new user and post 500+ time in the '...NOT about SQL' forum and be labelled an SQL Server Guru. New users would then be under the mistaken impression that I know something about SQL Server.
Maybe there should be a way the original poster could rate the response they received. Or maybe Steve, Andy & Co could review each post and assess whether it should be counted or not

Yikes!! Review every one!!
We get like 400 posts a day here. That's a bit much, but you do bring up an interesting point. "Guru" might be not be the best label.
We'll talk about it a little and see. Hate to hack the code to ignore posts in this topic, but we might need to change the titles a little.
