How programmatically do I get my output of Query Analyzer to be text instead of grid? I know I can go to the menus and change it, but is there a SET command or something else that will set it for that run?

The only short cut that I know of is CTRL+T to output results to text.

Yeah I was looking for a program command like a SET command.

Open the Query Analyzer, click on the following:
Tools, Options, Results Tab, Look at first line:
Default results target: select "Results to Text" from drop down list box

Yes, Yes, Yes.
I want my default to be grid and then through a command change it to text.

Sorry, QA does not do that. Changing from grid to text is not defined in SQL as far as I know.
