  I would appreciate if someone has any suggestions on increasing a file size, as I am newbie.

  Scenario:

  Looking at this database stat's report I see the following:

  Primary Current Size - 2056.0 MB

  Maximum Size - 10272.9 MB

  Used Space - 2046.95 MB

  % Used Current - 100%

  % Used Maximum Current - 20%

  Any input would be greatly appreciated.

  Goto Enterprise Manager and check the properties of the database.

  there u can see all the option about file growth of datafile and log file.
