Max size of table

    I am trying to find out if Yukon (SQL Server 2005) removes the limitation of 8K row size?  Does anyone know the answer to this?

    The 8k limitation that existed in SQL Server 2000 still holds good. But there is a new concept of long pages introduced that allow you to create a table with size greater than 8k. The architecture of the pages are still the same. There has not been much changes on that fronts. With long pages this has been just abstracted from the end-user.
