I have 48 GB of RAM on my windows 2008 64 bit server. There are three instances of 64 bit is running with max memory of 10 GB and min memory of 5 GB.
This is an OLTP env having 6 databases in total. Is the memory config is correct or di I have to increase it. How do I conclude if the memory setting is fine?

All 3 instances set to 10GB? Are they all of equal importance and memory usage?
10*3 = 30GB, so there's 18GB remaining. Is there anything else on the server?

I see an aweful lot of memory left over. As Gail was asking, are they all the same for importance.. I might bump the memory to top at 14GB if they are..
