Matrix subtotals for the grand total

I'm new here - hello all - hope someone cane help...
I have a matrix report with 2 row groups ("vessel" e.g. 1,2,3... and
"service", e.g., A,B,C...) and 1 column group ("date").
The "service" group is initially hidden and toggled by the "vessel" group to
show detail.
I would like to also show a sub-total of the service group at the grand
total line level, i.e. the report just sub-totalled by the second "service"
group. Is this possible within the standard matrix report or do I have to
add a second matrix with the first layer of grouping removed?

I'm trying to do the same but am finding the documentation really lame. Seems like a pretty straight forward thing to display on a report.

I'm sorry to say I never found a solution to this. As far as I can tell RS for SQL 2000 can't do this. Maybe it's available in SQL2005?
