Matrix Report Header Rows

  • I've fixed it, but it's a little hard to explain. I got rid of the rectangle and put the table header directly into the corner. This filled the corner in design view, but I still had the same problem when previewing the report. I then made the bottom corner\column group taller, which made the table header taller. And somehow that transferred to the preview, and it looks fine now. I'm not entirely sure how I stumbled upon the problem or the solution... but as long as it works, I guess!

I don't know the answer to the first question, but as for adding labels to the matrix corner: put a rectangle in the corner, and then add text boxes for each of the headers. You may have to play around with the alignment a little bit, but it has worked for me.

    thanks a lot.

Adding a rectangle prevents the header text boxes from moving to the left! Solved my row header problem within a matrix

  • Thanks for this. So simple, but it eluded me until I read your post.
