  Hi ,

  I try to import packages into integration service catalaog, i am getting the master key error .

  " Please create a master key in the database or open the master key in the session before performaing the operation (error:15581)""

  Version is SQl 2012

  Hi did you get the same error if you try to open de SSISDB master key manually?

  USE SSISDB

  OPEN master Key decryption by password = 'x' -- Password used when creating SSISDB

  ALTER Master Key ADD encryption by Service Master Key
