Have installed the latest (RTM) 2008 tools on my laptop.
All going well using SSMS 2008, then I needed to make some changes to my 2005 SSRS.
I connected to my server no problem, but in the object explorer only got 3 nodes under the server ; Jobs, Security and Shared Schedules - no Home node!
A bit of digging and I find a 'breaking changes' doc http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/ms143380.aspx, which states:
In Management Studio, the Home folder is removed in this release. You cannot view, manage, distribute or secure report server content in Management Studio.
OK. Fair enough. Not my call. I guess they have good reasons. MS have decided to remove this from SSMS, just one question then - How DO I view, manage, distribute or secure report server content??????
All I wanted to do was change some security - I've had to go back to SSMS 2005 to do it.

Yes, either have a copy of SSMS 2005 handy
or do it via the Report Manager web interface
Only 2 ways I know how
