Hi.
Is anyone familiar with the following error:
"ECall methods must be packaged into a system module. (mscorlib)."
I get this error message whenever I try to connect to ANY database engine from management studio. I think the error is generated by the management studio tool, since I can connect to the database engine remotely from another computer using management studio, and I can also connect using sqlcmd.
Any ideas? I've been removing and reinstalling the database and all components for almost a day! And can't work around that error...
Thank you.

Oh, and I should point out that during the database re-installation today I have not received any errors. The database (and management studio) were working fine until few days ago.
And connecting through SQLCMD is possible from the same computer (the localhost)
Thanks...

Did you try to reinstall .NET framework? MSCORLIB is a part of the framework, maybe it got confused somehow?
To do that, go into Add / Remove programs and look for the .NET Framework 2.0, and try to Repair it, or remove / Re-Install.
