In Enterprise Manager you had the capability to directly edit data content in the results grid (I know I'm going to be blasted for what a bad thing this is to do, but for single control record changes in a development environment it is much faster that writing a throwaway update query)
Is there any equivalent functionality in Management Studio ? If so how do you get to it ?
Thanks

Right click on the table in the Object Explorer Pane, select Open Table.

OK that was easy, but is there any way to limit the grid to a results of a simple query, I hate to have the whole table open for update, if I can limit it to a couple of columns on a few rows.

Never mind I see where it's going, I was trying to get to it from a query screen, it looks like if you start with the open table, then you can get to the rest of what I was looking for
Thanks for the clue - (since I was clue-less on getting started)
