Hi,
I installed SQL Server 2005(There are 2 folders Servers n Tools, My requirement is to choose Servers folder only).
In my Installation Workstation components n booksonline or not installing.
Is this the reason for not showing up Managment studio. In all programs->Microsoftsqlserver 2005->only configuration tools are showingup.
What I need to do to get Management studio?

When you ran the SQL Server setup program did you select the option to install client tools?
Thats why you dont have SQL Server Management Studio.
Run the setup program again and select Client Tools.

Gary - what version of SQL Server 2005 are you installing?
The initial version of SQL Server Express didn't include SSMS. If that was what you installed, you may need to go visit MS' download site agani and find the SQL Express with Advanced Service download instead.
Otherwise - you need to make sure that you install the client tools/workstation components. If you don't install them, you don't get SSMS.

My requirement is never install client tools on QA Server.
So did not choose client tools option.

Okay, so why dont you install the client tools on your local machine?
