Can I install SQL 2000 Enterprise Mgr on my workstation and manage/register a 7.0 database that is on another machine?
Thanks for any help.

Yes you can. and you even get some extra features eg Taskpad view.
But remember if you save DTS packages using a sql 2000 EM you won't be able to view it from a sql 7 EM

Steven - You can view and edit the DTS packages if you have SP3 on your 7.0 machines.
Hope this helps.

Thanks for the info. I've stuck to SP2 and upgrade to 2000. Hence haven't really needed to look into sp3 much.
