In SQL 2005, you can also rename the 'sa' account. So if you renamed it to, say 'ss2k5guru', and someone tried to login as 'sa' they would receive the error that the login failed and not that there is no 'sa' account.

what about the password after enabling the "sa" accout.
Can we just go to SECURITY>LOGIN>RIGHT CLICK ON SA > ENTER NEW PASSWORD THERE AND CLICK OK?
When i intalled SQL server it was in windows authentication so i don't remember if i have given any password to "sa" account myself..so can i just give password after enabling the "sa" account.
