Maintenance Plans -> Index Rebuild = Stats update?

    As title says.

    When you run Rebuild Indexes on a DB does it "Update the Statistics" as well

    I think i read somewhere that it does but i cant find the source anymore and dont want me missing out a step in my plans if it doesnt!

    Rebuilding an index on a table will update the statistics for that index, yes.
