    Do we need to install Integration services to use Maintenance plans in SQL Server 2005?

    As I know..you need to install Integration services to use maintenance plans in sql server 2005.

    When I tried to create maintenance plans without installing integration services I got many issues.After installing Integration services everything is working fine.

    SQL gurus...could you please clarify this confusion...
