So I have installed a SQL Server 2005 DevEd, applied SP2a, attached the AdventureWorks databases and now wish to make a maintenanceplan for backup. Reading BOL(which took some doing, but that's another story) I get to the point where:
Right-click Maintenance Plans and select New Maintenance Plan.
Here it stops. I have no option called New Maintenance Plan. I have no option for Maintenance Plan Wizard.
What can I have done wrong? Checking the SQL Server Installation the SSIS service IS installed...

Got it, tnx. Amazing, that I am not SA while I am Windows Administrator... Also amazing, that I can change my permission WITHOUT being SA...
Weird set-up procedure, I guess.
