Maintenance Plan Log Report FTP Copy for review

    I'm in bit of a delima on what is the best method in getting Maintenance Plan Log Report to a document management server for processing. Right now, I've only have gotten as far as setting up a virtual doc server; so I can FTP the maintenace report after the maintenance plan has completed using a DTS package. This would work easily other than I want to keep at least a week of maintenace report logs on server, so each time it runs it will FTP a weeks worth of reports each day. Does this sound like a VB script or Perl script? Or, should I just keep the report for one day?

    Up to you. I think you could script an FTP send, or add an SSIS package with the FTP task to send files, but it could easily flake out. If you can live with once a week, I'd do that.
