Maintenance plan dont remove old backup files

    Hi, my maintenance plan should remove all >23 hours old files, but it dont do it, i have read logs and it said for example:

    [31] Base de datos mapas: eliminar los archivos de copia de seguridad antiguos...

    (null)

    2 archivos eliminados

    ..........

    the log said that all its ok, but the file dont remove.

    any help about it , plz???

    Without actually reviewing the databases, maintenance plans, folder architecture, and files therein, this is very hard to address. Unless you've got very pressing issues dependent upon the presense or absence of these backups, I'd recommend observing the situation for several days to see what happens over time.

    (That's assuming you're working with daily backups. When you only get 2-3 data points a day, it can take a while to figure out what's really going on.)
