Maintenance plan and jobs keep failing

    Did you have chance to look at this MS article http://support.microsoft.com/kb/919224/? The article is for SQL 2005, but the problem is similar to yours.

    I'm running a 32 bit processor so i don't think that's relevant. From what i've read it seems maybe a dll needs to be re-registered but i don't know which one. It's strange how it runs fine as a command line batch job but as an agent job it fails. "Invalid Class String" seems to point to a dll i think?

    Still errors using sql agent job. The maintenance plan works fine using DTEXEC from the command line in a batch file. Please, anybody with any other ideas?
