I have a maintenance job that runs backups - and this been running great...but just started to just do no backups.
I cannot see the process running in activity so i stopped it and restarted it.
Restarted SQL Agent and the backup will not run from a job.
I cannot see any messages or anything.
Any ideas what to look at - will be doing a reboot but just wondering if any one had this happen before.

Nothing in the agent log, error log or job history? Is this a maintenance plan job or a custom procedure?

Its a maintenance plan for the backups databases.
Nothing looking in any logs
If i cancel it manually it then writes to log saying closed.
But when running - it just says executing and it should only be 2 minutes to run but it sits for ever.
Hmmm....
