Is that just a public note or is there a specific question you're trying to ask?

I guess I was no thinking clearly when writing. It is a question, thanks for asking, I actually I am wondering why this folder is not being cleaned up ? It appears to be running properly but nothing is being deleted

Does the SQL service account have permissions on the drive / folder in question?
Are the files younger or older than 4 weeks old?
Is it pointing to the correct folder?
Is the folder protected from deletion? (We have certain folders that lock down a file after X minutes and will not allow it to be deleted by anything but the software that locked down the folder.)

What are the extensions of your backup files?
The parameter for file extension is blank, so it would only delete any backup files that don't have an extension. If your files have bak or trn extensions, you'd need to pass 'bak' or 'trn' as that parameter.
Cheers!

And here I just assumed the OP scrubbed the backup name. But that's a good point to check.

Are you really storing your database backups on the C: drive?
