normally you reorganize your indexes if fragmentation is between 5-30% and rebuild if fragmentation>30%

I suggest you keep reorganizing as a part of maintenance plans and rebuilding on ad-hoc basis when fragmentation exceeds 30% as rebuilding is more resource intensive..
Also i think online index rebuilding is available only in enterprise edition (someone pls correct if i'm wrong here).

In 2005, online rebuilds are enterprise only;

Thanks Steve for the link. Doc says it's available only in enterprise edition in sql 2k5. I somehow couldn't find it at that time.:-D

However, if I am talking about system database maintenance - shall I also rebuild and reorganize indexes and update statistics?
Please note that I do not have a lot of the jobs/backups running and all the data is being held for 6 weeks only.
