Mail Merge Question

    Hi,

    I want to know how to make a mailmerge work by using a query and not a table.

    I would like to have this happen from a button click in an Access / ADP project with SQL backend.

    I am not sure on how to even get started, I have searched online and found some exampled but not all of them show all the steps. If anyone can point me to a good site with complete examples I would be much appreciated.

    When using Access frontend you can send "Pass Through" Queries directly to SQL Server.

    Don't know is you are using MS Word for Mail Merge, but then it's also possible to create a simple select statement directly on SQL Server. ( with MS Query builder - additional install from CD )
