Losing the Mirror in a Quorum

    Hi all!

    What would you expect to happen if we the mirror lost connection with the principal and witness servers?

    would the principal go offline?

    All three servers are on different sites.

    In High-Safety (synchronous mode) the principal will continue to serve the database.

    The mirroring state would be disconnected. You need to take care of the space availability on principal as the log file would continue to grow as even t-log backups would not be effective.
