Thanks for the extensive list. Haven't really followed up the data world. We had some ransomware breaches in Belgiums cities.

Awesome! If the article is correct, I can install SSMS, skip the whole SQL Server backend piece, and still build great databases to run my business. Think of the money we'll save!
Anyone who stores critical PII on a dev machine, or copies said data to a laptop or flash drive, needs to be publicly flogged and forbidden from touching data again for the rest of their life.
