Hi Experts,
In our environment we have configured the logshipping for all database, whether it is enough or we can schedule the logbackup hourly to avoid the log growth. Whether it can be done or not?? Is it required??

If you have logshipping setup, do not add anything else to the environment which can do log backups as to do so will affect the LSN's and will break your logshipping.
You can always schedule the backup job to happen more frequently than the copy and restore job if your worried about log growth.
Generally you will setup logshipping to meet your companies RPO so you should be comfortable with the backup frequency.

If you schedule a separate log backup job, you will break log shipping immediately.
