Logshipping Restore Job Getting failed.

    Hi

    I have configured Log shipping for Seven databases and restore job was scheduled for every 15 mins.

    One job is getting failed daily at 12 : 50 AM sharp with error details "Executed as user: Ramco\_saran. sqlmaint.exe failed. [SQLSTATE 42000] (Error 22029). The step failed."

    SQL Service is running under "Ramco\_saran" account ,

    My question is why only one job is getting failed that too at 12:50 AM daily???

    Please see the job error history below:

    There should be more information about why the job failed. Try expanding the Log Shipping job history by clicking the plus sign (+) on the left of the job history for the 12:50 time and read each step to see what the actual error is.

    Restore job will be having only one step . And the error I got is "Message

    Executed as user: Ramco\_saran. sqlmaint.exe failed. [SQLSTATE 42000] (Error 22029). The step failed." "

    This is not enough information.

    Check the sql server errorlog.

    As per JeremyE told,

    Check the job history and expand the lines find the error and post back.
