  Dear All,

  Do we need to change the secondary server name/IP in place of Priamary server every time in connection string for all the applications when we perform fail over( i.e Primary fails) in Logshipping?

  or Is there any way to mention secondary details also along with Primary in connection string like "<SQLConnection server="Primary" Failover Partner=Secondary database="mydatabase" user="myuser" password="mypwd" />"

  Please advise how it works/ how we can change the secondary server/IP address in connection string when failover occurs?
