Login to Remote Servers in Live IP

    I have a remote server USA having live IP having ms sql server installed. I want to attach that server's ms sql in my local system's enterprise manager. How can it be done. So that i can access as if another in my local system for MS SQL.

    Hello,

    While in the Enterprise Manager, go to "Register SQL Server Wizard.” (Either right click on a server icon and choose “New SQL Server Registration” or go to the MMC tools menu > Wizards > New SQL Server Registration.

    Type in the IP address where you would normally have the Server name. Follow the directions to add the server.

    Normally this method will work. Good Luck!
