login failure

    greetings,

    after modification of login authentication from Windows only to both windows and sql, sql server wonth start due to login failure, any ideas how i can solve this problem?

    Check the sql server service and see what account it is running as.  You may need to change the user/pw of this account, if it's not Local Sytem account.

    How are you trying to start the sql server?  Through EM, or through the SQL Server Service Manger, or another method (ie netstart...).  If you're using EM to start the server then what is the sql server registered as in EM.  If it's registered as an account which doesn't have permission to start a service then this may be your problem.  You'll need to register the server again in EM as a user which exists in sql server.
