Login failed to access SQL

  Hallo ……………

  My team just created a Group in Active Directory ( it is MS SQL read only Group ) . For example ( ABC\Lily.Merry)

  And I give it access in SQL by creating login with that Group name and DB_datareader checked already for all databases .

  But the weird thing is those members in that group cant access SQL . It said login failed

  Any feedback on this issue is really appreciated

  Are the members of the group part of another group which has deny connect at the server level.

  Can you post the full error message including the 18456 error state and severity?
