My SQL Server 2000 runs on Windows NT 4. I have it set up to use both Windows and SQL Server authentication. I let the developers (any myself) connect with our Windows logins.
About an hour ago everybody started getting this message: "connection could not be established to [servername] Reason: Login failed for user(null) Not associated with a trusted connection" We can, however, get in with SQL Server logins. I rebooted the box just in case but it still happens.
I haven't made any config changes lately and am the only one who is has SA rights. Does anybody have suggestions on what to check/what this could be or what to ask our NT administrator?
Thanks

I have received these messages when there is too much of a load on the server and it is about to crash. Seems like the Server cannot get the authentication through the network card to the domain controller, and you receive the errors.
I restart the server and it works again.

Agreed with Michelle. You may double check the security tab in server property to make sure both Windows and SQL Serevr option be choosed.
Any error messages in your SQL Server errorlog, machine system/application logs?
