Login failed in SQLServer 2008

  • Dear All,

    Iam facing the below login failed errors.

    SQLServer 2008 - RTM - Enterprise Edition

    Windows Server 2008 - 64 bit O/s

    Message

    Login failed for user 'sa'. Reason: Failed to open the explicitly specified database. [CLIENT: xxxxxx]

    Error: 18456, Severity: 14, State: 38.

    Login failed for user 'xxxxxxxx'. Reason: Token-based server access validation failed with an infrastructure error. Check for previous errors. [CLIENT: xxxxxxxx]

    Error: 18456, Severity: 14, State: 11.

    Please advise.

  • Try login into the ssms using admin account (admin:instance name ) while connecting to the database engine ..It may help ....\m/
