  Hey guys,

  Ran into a problem this morning that I have never seen before...

  I created this login, SQL Server Authentication, mapped to a database, gave read/write access...And it created it successfully!

  However I try to connect to the server but get the Login failed for user 'aaaa' Error:18456

  And yes I have tried deleting and recreating it, using a different password, made sure I was not having a typo, recreated it using scripts...Everything I have done has not worked...It creates the account but when I go to connect to the server using that login, it fails!

  Any ideas?

  Sorry guys...

  I found the issue...Pretty elementary!

  I checked the server side and it only allowed Windows authentication logins...
