:ermm: Is it just me or are options 1 and 4 identical?
Option #1: FROM,ON,JOIN,WHERE,GROUP BY,CUBE | ROLLUP,HAVING,SELECT,DISTINCT,ORDER BY,TOP
Option #4: FROM,ON,JOIN,WHERE,GROUP BY,CUBE | ROLLUP,HAVING,SELECT,DISTINCT,ORDER BY,TOP
I chose option #1 and it looks like I'm not alone.

No matter whats happens later in today about identical answer or not.
Very nice question, Thanks for sharing

I suspect not as many people will get this right as they should because one of the two identical options returns a wrong answer.

I chose option 1 also.

It IS a very good question, however as has been already mentioned, options 1 and 4 are identical but choosing option 1 is marked incorrect. Still, I guess it made me question my understanding of logical processing and made me swot up to make sure I really did understand the logical processing order; as it helped reinforce my knowledge, I won't complain about being marked wrong! π

why #1 is incorrect&

Nice, 50 / 50 on which of 1 or 4 is the "correct" answer. Would appear I picked the wrong "correct" one π
I wonder what the wording of 1 should be, to be a wrong answer?

Hi,
all options are wrong where
2nd and 4th options are same.

I don't often answer these questions, but of the few times I have, twice the answers have been wrong. Pretty poor proof-reading; wouldn't trust them with my database! π

I have a reference here that states that the last three are distinct, top then order by. This is from the book inside Microsoft SQL server 2008 - T-SQL Querying.
So I chose the wrong answer...

Either they fixed it or something because now options 1 and 4 are different.
Option #1: FROM,ON,JOIN,WHERE,GROUP BY,HAVING,CUBE | ROLLUP,SELECT,DISTINCT,ORDER BY,TOP
Option #4: FROM,ON,JOIN,WHERE,GROUP BY,CUBE | ROLLUP,HAVING,SELECT,DISTINCT,ORDER BY,TOP
