BIDS 2008: I went to SSIS--> Logging menu, added logging to Event Log , chose ONERROR, On POSTEXECUTE, ON PACKAGE FAILURE events.
I did the same for Logging to SQL Server. Specified the database connection (same database that the package tasks works with (and the connection is fine..).
I ran the package. Event Viewer shows log entries clearly and correctly.
However, no SYSSSISLOG table created in system tables in the specified database.
Is it a bug or i need to do something else to enable logging to the SYSSSISLOG table?
