Hello Masters,
Is it possible to configure logshipping using sql server 2005 and sql server 2008? That is one node will be sql 2005 and another will be sql 2008. Is it possible ?
Would it cuase any compatibility issue?

It is possible to log-ship from 2005 to 2008 but I don't think you would want to.
If your Log-Shipping is for Disaster Recovery then what happens if your 2005 server fails? You will switch it to your 2008 server and then you are stuck on that - you can't log-ship back to 2005 from 2008 and you couldn't restore that database from 2008 to 2005. You can't move your data in this manner to previous versions of SQL Server.

+1 on that.
The only time I would recommend such a logshipping configuration is if your going to be upgrading to 2008 at some point in time, other than that if its for DR reasons, it should be 2005 to 2005.
