Yes everything was configured properly and working well until I attempted to set up a log shiipting test database useing scripts. When I realized that that scripts did not do the intial backup and restore it was too late as I had already applied them to the primary, secondary and monitor. I canceled the jobs manually that had been setup but the monitors jammed up on me. Everything continued to work fine as far as the jobs were concerned but I no loger got any updating of the log shipping tables.

My copy information is out of date , the backup and restore information is current. The sp_refresh_log_shipping_monitor procedure did not help in correctly updating the copy information.

Are you able to register primary server from secondary server and vice versa by using server names
Only monitoring server is giving problem in this case. In which server you configured monitor server (ie., in primary / secondary / or new server as monitor server).
