Why cannot we take regular full backup on primary server in Log Shipping? Does it break log chain?

No, it doesn't break the log chain.

You can take regular full backups on a log shipping primary. Nothing prevents that, and it has no effect on log shipping.

You can take regular full backups on a log shipping primary. Nothing prevents that, and it has no effect on log shipping.
Thanks Gail. So, we cannot take regular full backup on secondary database, correct?

You can't take any backups on a log shipping secondary afaik.
