Hi,
We have SQL Server 2005 and configured Log shipping. Unfortunately, we took an extra log backup using a 3rd party tool and from then the Restore job is failing looking for that particular log backup file .
I have the log backup files taken from 3 rd party tool.
Question:
If I restore this log backup manually on secondary, then will the Log shipping chain resume??
Please advice

It should. You might need to restart the log shipping jobs, but they should be able to pick up with the next log file
