Log shipping between cluster nodes

    Hey guys i have a situation in which i need to configure log shipping. as stated above is it possible to log ship to an active or passive node?

    if log ship to passive node is possible, do i have acquire license for that active node?

    Anyone have links, blogs describing the above that will point me in the right direction is greatly appreciated.

    Log shipping (if you mean SQL Server Log Shipping) is configured to ship log from one SQL Server (or virtual SQL Server) to another SQL Server (or virtual SQL Server).

    Virtual SQL Server is built on cluster (either active/active or active/passive). I do not think you can log shipping between the nodes within the same cluster.
