Log Shipping?

    Hi all

    Quite new to SQL Server and have been asked to set up log shipping between two dbs. The only database we have have log shipping currently is a 2000 server and I have now learned that things are a bit different in 2005, not least of the which is the lack of the Log Shipping Monitor on the monitor server.

    Anyway, I have been through the wizard and, as far as I know, configured log shipping, but I have no idea if I did it right, or if it's working correctly. I think I need to go back to square one.

    Can someone point me to a really good step-by-step guide to configuring log shipping and the monitor server?
