hello all,
is it necessary to have the sqlserver as well as sqlagent services on all the servers involved in log shipping to run under the same account with same password. or there is another way to configure log shipping with different accounts.
thank you.

It is not necessary that you same svc a/c and password for the both servers, but be note this point.....
1) Svc a/c should be part of SA permission no login permission on the service a/c (It means with that svc a/c no one can login into the box or sql server).
2) Svc a/c of both the servers needs to add in correspond server.
Ex....
Server1 Server2
SVC1 SVC2
Add SVC2 into server1 and add SVC1 in Server2.
Hopefully you understand.
