I'm having a hard time with log shipping. I logged onto one of our servers and did Tool/Data Maintenance Planner and stepped half way through the wizard process. Then when I got to the part you add the destination server I clicked ADD of course and it brought up the new dialogue. But the problem is this: it does not allow me to add my standby server. It's not in the drop down list and it won't allow me to type. What is going on? This primary server definitely has a linked server to the standby server and it can ping the standby server. And I have tried it both logged in as the domain sql server account and with the sa account. I would sure appreciate it if someone could help...

Nevermind, I got it to work on my workstation. Why it works on my workstation but not when I PCAnywhere is something I don't understand but, hey, it works...
