We use two servers in our replication environment. Server A is the publisher and Server B is the distributor and subscriber. All is working very well.
Question: From time to time server A needs to be rebooted for maintenance. When this happens the log reader agent on server B times out, throws a red event and requires manual intervention to startup again. Then all runs well.
What setting can I increase on the log reader agent, say ten minutes, to accomidate the rebooting? I reviewed BOL and this forum and did not find anything that was really clear.
My guess is I'd up the valud of LoginTimeout.
THanks for your help.
