Hi,
We are using 2000 SP4 on Win 2003 Standard edition. We are facing issues with the logreader agent intermittently. Log reader fails with the following warning / error msg (event log). But its not leaving any clue there in sql error log. i tried to restart the agant but it goes to retry or cancelled. When ever we get this problm we need to reconfigure replication. any help would be highly appreciated.

Stephen,
Try changing the log reader agent values particularly BatchSize and the QueryTimeOut option that should help you.

You rock sugesh !
Tht did the fix ... we changed the querytimout value to 600000 and the readbatch size value to 1 ... now its working fine ... this is because of the huge transaction .... thx
